Application: MOLAMINE™ EDA is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry as a key solubilizing agent in drug formulations, a chemical intermediate for synthesizing active pharmaceutical ingredients and an excipient. It is combined with theophylline to form the common bronchodilator aminophylline, where ethylenediamine makes the less-soluble active drug sufficiently water-soluble for medical use.
